4 / 2006 - Client: Dawn and Greg, "Let me try to form the proper words. This is neither cat nor human but a magical creature that fits no mold that I am familiar with. Mr. Spot, now known about town as "Java" (hope you don't mind), has indeed come out from underneath the bed. For the first day or two he broke my heart. He mostly hid and was clearly afraid (shaking actually) and lonely for you two and his fellow kitties. Though I don't really know you well, you are obviously wonderful people or you couldn't have created an environment that fostered Java. He is a wonderful, confident and happy kitty. On the morning of the third day, Java came out from under the bed in quite a dramatic fashion. He did a worling dervish down the stairs from the third floor, jumped from the stair rail on top of the refrigerator on the second floor then pounced on me leopard style (I was sitting on the floor calling him by scratching the floor and making cat noises) - only to plant a big kiss on my face. We've been best friends ever since. Whatever species he really is, he is quite aerial. He has leaped from a table to enthrone (if that's a word) himself on a swinging chandelier for one story. You will understand (he had to have developed this act before taking it on the road) that there are far more examples than I can possibly cover in this email. I have found it interesting that Java aka Spot is most happy with companionship that is at his choice and control. When I want to carry him to another room I simple let him climb on top of my shoulder and support him but don't make him feel "held" - and he loves it and purrs like mad. In sum, he represents the adventure of wild look with a bit of a crazy wild personality but a kind and gentle soul. Exactly what I would prefer to be and associate with. Thank you, I am very lucky to have this amazing and nutty personality sharing my home. Please visit. Or, at a minimum, please rescue me as I am already certain that my days of being in charge here are numbered..." Mark - Massachusetts

4 / 2006 - Client: "Dawn and Greg, Before getting Jorel, we had Ringo - the bulldog and Dweezil – the bengal. Both are truly the light of our lives. We had thought about adopting a cat for Dweezil, so he has a companion, when we go away overnight, or whatever. It was mostly me, who felt bad that when we go up to Paul's aunts overnight, with Ringo, that Dweezil would be all alone for 24 hours, or so. So, then along came Jorel... Dweezil, somewhat unsure what we had done when Jorel first came home, loves him! They are crazy together. Both have learned some good and bad habits from each other. Having 4 floors at our condo, they call to each other from different floors. Then sound like a herd of elephants, when they chase each other through the condo. Sometimes they "fight", but in the end, they are the best of friends, and sleep together with us on the bed at night. Ringo loves both his little brothers, and they love him. Many times will Jorel give him the belly-up, looking for some love from big bro. Growing up, I've always had cats. When the cat I had before Dweezil died, we thought about getting a bengal. I was on the fence. I feel like there are so many homeless cats, that I hate to see not have homes. Now, I don't know if we will ever own anything but a bengal cat. They love to be loved. They are the icing on the cake. Thanks for adding more joy to our lives with Jorel! He's been wonderful for all of us!" MC & PC - New Hampshire |
3 / 2006 - Client: "Mikey is awesome. He just visited the vet who said that he is a very healthy cat. He has a little nose problem but the vet said not to be alarmed. He gets along with all my friends dogs. He actually beats one of them up which is hilarious. He'll jump from the top of the fridge on top of the dog. CRAZY!!! He's sitting on my lap right now. Thanks for the follow up!" M.T. - Massachusetts
12 / 2005 - Client: "Let me just begin by saying that I have never had a cat more loving than Snickers! His energetic, fun-loving personality coupled with his love of being with people makes him a joy to own, (or be owned!) and watch! The ariel acrobatics he can do are amazing, sometimes I think the other 3 cats are amazed as well! But any cat can look good, but it takes a lot of love in those first few weeks to really give them this kind of a personality! Both you and Greg have done a wonderful job of showing them love! You can tell that by the fact that he is very much a people kitty! But so cuddly and vocal about what he wants! You have both shown how much you truly care about them with how you worry about where they go, and their health, before and after they are gone! You are both amazing, and that shows with how amazing Snickers is! I would recommend your kittens to anyone who wanted to be owned by a Bengal! Our lives have truly been blessed with Snickers in them! Thank you for everything!" L.F. – New Hampshire
12 / 2005 - Client: "Hi Dawn and Greg, Firstly, it was truly a pleasure meeting you two last night. I felt very confident that he got much love during his earliest days because of your great personalities. Mikey likes it!!! Mikey is the best.. I'm soooo happy already. He went in the spaceship kitty litter box, hasn't been too much of a devil except for gnawing on my foot while I was asleep last night. I must've been out cold because he got thru the tough part of my sole and into the tender tissue.. it's not too bad.. I think it's a riot. He is such a loving cat and purs loudly. His favorite toy is the laser and the feather bell thing. He slept with me last night and he was actually on top of me sleeping when I woke up. I'm so very happy. My friends love him too. Thanks so much.. I'll keep in touch and send you pics once I fix my digital camera. Thanks again," Mike - Massachusetts
12 / 2005 - Client: "Milo's visit went super! The vet thought Milo was a fabulous example of the Bengal breed. He's up to 3 lbs 7 oz and still pestering his big brother. George and Milo are buds, no doubt. They cuddle, groom, tease and yes, fight a bit, but it's not always Milo. Sometimes George wants to play and Milo doesn't. All's fair...Milo follows George around and tries to imitate him in everything. Eat from his bowl, poop in his box, climb where he just climbed...it's hysterical to watch. We absolutely love Milo (all of us-everyone who meets him actually) and he does love us. He has such a big, big heart. " A.D. - Massachusetts
